The handmade prototype of this lamp hangs in our stairwell. I was sitting on the stairs back in the winter of 2016 warming up in the sun and looking at the three very dated glass lampshades that were hanging there and I thought to myself ‘I can improve on that!’ and what you see here is a result of that thought.
